VT might have the worst O in D1 football they are hard to watch. The U sucks too but playing VT looks like a sure win for everyone they play now. I bet OSU is kicking their selves for the loss to the Hokies.

will know when to call it quits. I think his ego will actually cause him to leave earlier rather than later. He doesn't want to hang around coaching a bunch of 7-5 teams. He has said before, South Carolina won't have to fire him, he will know when to hang it up. I wouldn't be surprised if he left after this season. Or next season if they do not improve. After Thompson leaves, he doesn't really have a QB to mentor, and if the team sucks, I could see him bowing out.

Obviously, you haven't been watching Wake Forest "O" play. The only way they scores with the defense.
I think Wake will be lucky to have 7 yards on our "D", much less 7 points.

It was only what, 5 years ago that they were one of the most feared teams in college football. Now they can't even hold serve in what they consider one of their most intimidating enviromnents (Thursday night home game). And when was the last time ANYONE heard the term "Beamer Ball"?
It's sad. Beamer should do himself a favor and retire before VT pulls a Bobby Bowden on him. That team needs some fresh faces, and fast.
