Help choosing away games

As I have one semester left of undergrad, I am looking forward to traveling as much as possible to support my Tigers. Due to funds and other things, I won't be able to attend every away game, but I was curious what you all thought would be the best (reg season) away games to attend? Possibly ranked 1-5. Not just solely based on the team (USuCk game would be obvious #1) but the location/entertainment value of the area. Wherever I go, I want to make a weekend of it. TIA!

A bunch of drunk Rednecks that only care about the 1st quarter, unless they are winning and then they get worse.
And those are the wives!

And bc is in October while Syracuse is even worse in November.
If you're willing to travel That far, Miami will probably be a nice change of pace cube late October.

My Senior Season '12, I went to 11 of 13 games...

The only games I did not go to were at FSU and BC. That season I went to the opener and the bowl game in ATL, took trips up to Wake for a Thurs. night game, and the game at Duke.
Looking at the schedule this year, it would seem feasible to make a trip to Raleigh as it would probably be about a 5 hour drive from Clemson. You could do a day trip to save money, but it might be better to get a cheap hotel for one night. I always took a big group of people in my Sequoia so we split the cost of gas/lodging. We always seemed to have a friend to crash with as well.
I have heard that BC is the away trip of a lifetime, but I could not afford that on my college budget.
I would not recommend Miami as their stadium and game atmosphere is garbage. The orange bowl in 2011 was a waste of my money and time. Driving to Miami is a HUGE mistake. It takes a solid 12-13 hours. You could get a cheap flight out of GSP, but it is hard to find lodging in Miami that is economical where you don't fear for your life at the hotel. I learned my lesson the hard way in a smoky roach-motel.
Go to SCar and try to stay with a friend. It should be a good game down there and hopefully it will be good to shut them up. Their fans are obnoxious, mouthy, and in some areas, hostile. Be careful not to mouth off to the wrong drunk coot.
Another strategy would be to hold out and go to the ACC champ. game in Charlotte or save up for the potential bowl game. If you have the patience to hold out, I would recommend going to our postseason game regardless of the destination. The LSU Chick fil-a bowl was the perfect way to spend my last game as a student. I had tears pouring out of my eyes during the alma mater after that game.

Thanks very much! I am already planning on going to the ACC Champ Game/Postseason games regardless of what regular season games I attend. Wouldn't miss 'em! Thanks again.

1. Louisville - Primarily because we've never played up there.
2. Syracuse - Niagara Falls, Cooperstown and Dinosaur BBQ
3 - Miami - Southbeach is late October but it ca nbe a bit pricy.

This being Clemson's first trip there since they joined the conference, it ought to be a dandy. The Louisville fans that I met in Clemson last yr were great. This yr, their fans cannot wait to host Clemson. It should be a fun game.

game is always a fun one to go to. Also,if you want to have a good time away from the game, then Miami is your choice hands down.
