You know you've reached elite status when 500 plus yards of offense and 42 points is "shutting down" an offense. Without the turnovers we wouldve scored 60+.
Sorry to break it to the media and to UL fans, but it doesn't matter how many TDs Lavar Johnson passes or rushes for, they will be watching Clemson play for yet another conference championship and playoff berth from home.
You didn't get it done when it actually mattered. Clemson did. The rest is simply fodder for articles and hypotheticals.

They were talking about NC State shutting down Clemson. Not Louisville

Brock was talking about UL being one of the most balanced teams, if not the most balanced, they have seen this year.
He then went on to say that their defense "shut down Clemson in many ways." Apparently every way but the scoreboard.
Go back and watch it. I couldn't believe it myself.

Watson is lucky Shaq Wiggins was out for the game, he's on Alexander level, and Watson would not have had Washington to pick on. Clemson fans need to shut up and take the win the refs gifted you and your defense with all the holding penalties you all should have been called for. Keep squeaking out those wins against subpar opponents.

U of L was holding our D-Line the entire game, secondary holding was going both ways, however, pass interference no calls were not.

Yes we are so lucky in crunch time DW drove us down the field for 2 TDs in the last 7 minutes while your QB went 3 and out and then couldn't get the first down on 4th the last drive when it mattered most. So lucky.

Wow man still so bitter.... this is probably the most salty post I have ever seen. You're right though about one thing, we will kick back and keep enjoying W's, you know the thing that actually matters the most.
Yall have a great team, Heisman contender and a good coach with with a win at all costs mentality but you come to our board to cry about something that happened weeks ago, that you or I cant change, what's wrong?
There is a good chance if we both keep winning that we will play again, most likely on a neutral field but I will say that most Louisville fans are starting to sound like Oklahoma fans. OK fans swore up and down that they were the better team, the refs were Clemson fans, and they would kick our ### when we met again, well we know how that turned out.
You say subpar opponents when yall just struggled with Duke the week previous. The refs made bad calls on both sides in our game. C'mon man just enjoy the special season yall are having for a change instead of being such a punk about it.

NCSU shut down run game since they knocked Gallman out of game. Watson completed 75% of passes but was shut down, lol. Come on get real, I'm sure you were just fooling about, right ???

DW passed for almost 400 yards and broke the clemson record for completions. We couldn't get in the endzone because of turnovers so I can understand that but these people should do their homework. DW had a great game minus the pick 6
