Considering the conference records of their opponents I think not All but two SEC teams they played had .500 conference records or worse. Alabama & Kentucky. SEC east was horrible this year. Cross conference was Auburn & Arkansas Hopefully they give someone else a chance

Their best win was us. So, no, they should not be in. ND beat more ranked teams.
