That's a pretty long term goal if so. By the time these people can gain citizenship, can vote, actually vote, etc etc, most of the people in office will be dead. That's an interesting plan though. Visionaries I guess.

On average, they have to get their green card after their application goes in and that is a year to two years, and then maybe 5 years later they are citizens. We aren't talking about 2024 or 2028. They are a non factor. I will probably be dead before they swing any red states.

Immediately after gaining citizenship he had to take a drug test.
I'm not saying the process is right or wrong, but I was pretty surprised at the things he told me for money and tests and renewals, etc

No, I would have shot everyone on Jan 6th that attacked the Capitol, the violent ones. I would have strict borders though. I was just responding to the other post as to why the Dems get that vote later on from the immigrants. Dems make themselves more accepting after they are here. MAGA people call them "bad hombres", or scream at them in publical and tell even American citizens of Hispanic heritage to go home.

Maybe we needed our immigrants more at that stage? I am not saying that is fact, but there is a debate there. Were the times different? Was the setup for immigrants different as far as costs and the problems? Maybe politics are more of a factor now? Maybe we can just get the best and the brightest from around the world and not bad hombres?

Why is issuing work permits now a national security risk, but not back when Reagan was running for office? Was Reagan was a liberal hack who didn't care about national security?

What is different today versus when Reagan (who you supported) championed issuing work visas to migrants and allowing them to travel back and forth, thus opening the border both ways? Didn't Reagan win in a landslide with this policy?

I was making in my initial post. Probably because you don't want to discuss that aspect of illegal immigration. Not to mention, the situation we face today is nothing like it was in the 1980's. Do you think we live in a vacuum where all other variables stay the same over decades?
Would you agree affordable housing is a problem in this country? And if so, does letting in hundreds of thousands, if not millions of more poor people help or hurt that situation?

bad". Why don't want you want to acknowledge the real consequences of unfettered illegal immigration? Do I need to put it into bullet points so you can follow?
Chinese/terrorists ability to cross the border illegally is a national security issue
Bringing in millions of poor people causes increased shortage of affordable housing
It further burdens a school system that is already struggling to keep the population literate
Also strains healthcare resources
Can you intelligently reply to this post? I just saw your edit about mortgage rates LOL. Maybe you'd like to comment on the price of tea in Japan too? Could you try to stick to the subject?

Did you support Reagan for POTUS? Can you name a better POTUS in your lifetime than Reagan? 😆
Again, mortgage rates were 16% in 1981, which is the sane time period when the POTUS you supported championed what Brandon just did. So much for your affordable housing narrative, which we all new was you grasping at straws. Too funny.

You've deflected so much you've gone from talking about illegal immigrants to mortgage rates. That has to be frustrating to have such an inability to stay on point.

Dude, you're all over the place and flopping around like a hooked fish on a dock. Your affordable housing is completely laughable as an example of a national security risk. Why was it not possible for terrorists to cross the border back when your favorite POTUS championed opening the border both ways and issuing work permits to migrants?
Do mortgage rates have anything to do with "affordable housing"? I'll wait.

I asked you what the security risk is today versus the Reagan years with issuing work visas/permits. YOU are the one who responded with "affordable housing". Now you're trying to back peddle cause you could not respond to the point I made. So what is the national security risk of issuing work permits today versus when this was advocated by your favorite POTUS back in the 80's? Still waiting, but I don't expect an answer cause you don't hVe one to give.

Reason people don’t like illegal immigration was because they didn’t like brown Christian’s by giving you a bunch of very real consequences/problems associated with illegal immigration, while also pointing out that they aren’t just Hispanic anymore, but people who actively wish to do our country harm. You totally abandoned that conversation and started talking about Reagan and mortgage rates.
You obviously couldn’t keep up with the topic at hand, which is pretty typical for you. Now I’m just messing with you because I enjoy watching low iq people squirm. #checkmate lol

Do our special forces ride into other countries on commercial air lines, or are they a bit more covert? What do you think the huge flood of Chinese people is about?
Do I have to pick between the southern and northern border to be worried about? Can't I have concern about nefarious people coming from both? Am I destroying your narrative too much for you? I bet you can't even answer a single question I asked.

You guys never mention the northern border, nor do you ever mention our coastlines. You guys think a metal wall that can easily be breached will solve everything. LOL. Fact is. As long as a poor country shares a border with a wealthy country, people will try to get in. Facts baw.
As far as our special forces, is it normal for them to try and infiltrate areas like our Southern border where there are a lot of eyes looking on?
