Sharp looking old school Block C Clemson helmet

Never have seen one up close .Would you mind seeing the Tigers wear this helmet for something like Military Appreciation Day ? Dabo always wears his Block C hat for Championship games and Danny Ford wore his Block C hat all the time.The Block C is part of Clemson lore.The Baseball team keeps the Block C alive.My brother was just a kid when Clemson wore the Block C helmet but he said Clemson fans were very attached to them and he said there were some complaints about replacing the Block C with the Paw.

Whether anyone likes it or not it's still part of Clemson's history just as much as the paw helmet. I didn't like the Navy helmet with the orange stripe Clemson wore against Georgia back in the 90's but it was for one anniversary game. No big deal.

Ouch ! That's a bit harsh .lol Frank Howard won ACC Championships in 65 , 66 , 67 with the Tigers wearing those helmets . In this picture from the Nov 67 " White Shoes " game against NC State you can see the helmet . Just saying .

Bingo. Some people must think history began in 1970. I like the 1965 one. The C looks even more retro. Wouldn't hurt to wear it one game a year. No one wants to change the paw helmet permanently.
