Very sad news today. So many of you were so kind

and your prayers were so fervent, I need to let you know that Parks went home to heaven last night. His heart wasn't recovering as much as the doctors had hoped but it was thought he was stable so this relapse came as a big surprise to all of us.
I truly appreciate the kind words and well wishes from so many of you. The last 5 months that we got with Parks, after the first episode, were a blessing and I will cherish that time forever.
I don't know what God is doing here, but I know who He is, and I trust Him.

I am very saddened by this news. I had hoped he would recover completely and have a rich life ahead of him. You're a good man and I will keep you, Parks' family and friends in my prayers. Thanks for keeping us informed.

like a son to him. The kid was a brave fighter and I'm very sad to hear this news today. Everything I have heard about Parks is that he is as good as it gets, an inspiration, a great teammate, and just an amazing kid. God bless him.

So very sorry to hear about this. I haven't been on TNet that much lately and had figured this young man was improving and getting healthy. It's definitely tough to see where God is in the midst of things often, but Parks is secure in His presence and lacking nothing right now. My prayers are for the comfort of those who love him. May His grace and mercy shine upon you all now.

doing well. It certainly makes us reflect on how precious life is and how fleeting it can be. My sincere sympathy goes out to you and all of Parks' family and friends.
