SEC Schedule Planning

Sep 4, 2022, 11:49 PM

The way ESPN and the SEC schedule their games is awful. Georgia in Atlanta, LSU in New Orleans. Alabama playing their first non-conference ROAD game since 2011. Make no mistake, FSU won AT LSU tonight

You are correct about that and the LSU loyalty will not let BK dismiss it lightly, I guarantee you.
They will not find their $9 million investment to be very pleasing until they beat Bama or A&M or UGA.
And I don't mean by 1 point either/

BK took the money and run from ND. He couldn’t make it far in the CFP and thought LSU would be easier with better recruiting. His seat has warmed up this morn. While ND was patient and content; a different animal at LSU.

I am no fan of the sec or espin but fairness fair now. Clemson last year in clt. Ga. Tech this year in Atlanta. Against us which is close to a home game as well

OK,let's be fair as you say:
1. Clemson "did give up" a "Home" game to Wyoming (& paid them compensation for the cancellation) for the chance/privilege to play a highly ranked out-of-conference opponent (GA) in the "neutral" Charlotte Stadium. While Clemson is closer to Charlotte than GA, the distance from Athens (and for GA fans throughout GA, SC, & NC) is not much further than for Clemson fans in the GA, SC, & NC area. I do consider the game closer to being a neutral site than tonight's LSU-FSU out-of-conference game.
2. While GT gave up playing in their home stadium in Atlanta to play Clemson in the Atlanta NFL Stadium, they never claimed it as a neutral site to play an ACC opponent. They are claiming all their rights as the "Home" team in hosting Clemson. One of the reasons for their desire to "limit" seating arrangements for the visiting Clemson team is the fact that rabid Clemson fans are so close to Atlanta, they would clearly outnumber their own "Home" GT fans in the Atlanta NFL stadium.

Absolutely correct. I think if the Utah/Florida game is in Utah, the Utes win. And if Arkansas was at Cincy, the Bearcats probably win. No doubt everything is set to maximize SEC success.
