Does anyone else see the fact that DJ does not seam to know how to roll out of the pocket and extend Plays? I feel it's one of his biggest problem....

Kidding aside, DJ's biggest issue is not making all of his reads. Often not seeing a wide open guy. or not having the confidence to sling it. being snake bit last year is still in his head. Add on that he has tree trunks for legs and not all that agile in the pocket. You will not find a young man with better character tho. Which, in life counts more than football.

I agree with that...but scrambling out of the pocket Would help him see down the field and give receivers Chance to get open..

DJ isn’t built to scramble. He isn’t going to outrun anyone to the outside.

I truly believe that DJ'S biggest problem is that he don't see the field, and if he does, why would he purposely over look wide open receivers down field, and throw to receivers in tight coverage. Well he doesn't, he just don't see them bc he only looks for the receiver that the play was designed to go to. Everybody in the stands see them running free down field, but DJ don't, and that is his QB coach fault. There has been many times that he has thrown the ball into coverage with receivers wide open that could have scored, and it has happened many times in just this season for sure!!!

Run tempo dont give him time to think and gas the defenses we play. Simple.

rolling out of the pocket would be a play designed to do that, we don't have a moving pocket. If you are talking about scrambling out of the pocket he does not do that much, he is a pro style QB and the blocking is designed to form a pocket...
This year he usually has plenty of time to get the passes off, he does not appear to read the whole field based on his head and feet. He also does not appear to get the ball to his checkdown of other receivers are not open.
In order to actually know what his progressions are we would need the playbook, which we don't have so we really don't know.
