Nuk to Cain Nuk had better hands but not has explosive Brown to Renfrow Surprisingly very similar game. Brown us much taller and longer but Renfrow is a scrapper player. Watkins to Scott. Also very simlar Watkins gave you more downfield threat.

Cain is the next Sammy...he's from the same area in Florida, has almost the exact same body, and when you watch his HS highlights you'd think you were watching Sammy, looks and moves exactly like him.

He is built more like nuk and plays nuk position. He does have Sammy moves.

He has Sammy's build as a freshman with room to add weight.

I had a coach tell me years ago what the definition of "potential" was. "Someone who is currently not worth a darn".
You can compare speed, moves, etc. but what made Sammy "special" is work ethic and heart. There will never be another Sammy. Deon will be his own man and decide how good he wants to be. Deon will or won't write his own story.

I disagree with that definition. You can be "not worth a dern" AND have no potential to ever be worth a dern.

Don't think so, unless Peake takes over for Renfrow

Anyway, we're a lot deeper at WR now.

The 9 spot isn't a heavy blocking wr position. It supposed to be the most productive position

as Nuk was. We're just way deeper now.
There are probably 8 WRs on our roster right now who could've started for that 2010 team.

Scott is nowhere near like Sammy. He's not as fast. He has just decent speed, he's not agile at all and he runs decent routes. Scott's hands, strength, and vision is what stands out about him. He like a pocket bomb. He doesn't compare to any other Clemson past receivers. He's the first of his kind.

He's too stiff in the hips. He's not agile, Ray Ray is more agile than him, CJ Soiller was more agile, and Andre Ellington. He's not a quick player like them and makes the cuts like them

I don't disagree with most of what you're saying
Oct 12, 2015, 7:40 PM

but sweeps are more about straight line speed and beating the defense to the corner than agility

He's a better fit for the sweep because he's more agile and has more straight line speed. You can see the difference between the two on screens, KR, and the sweeps. Artavis just had more reliable hands, stronger, and has just as good of vision as Ray Ray

What does flipping off a rock have to do with how you make jump cuts on the field when running routes and/or making people miss?

two or 3 defenders after jumping for ball - and then twisting his way into endzone the ND game and to one yd. line in GT game - it takes a lot of agility to do that same as flipping in the air - he was the only player to do that too into the lake - same thing - GREAT AGILITY!

That's strength not agility. Your agility has nothing to do with contact. It's an attribute that had nothing to do with contact

I was just saying he has a nasty streak or "bad attitude" when he's on the field.

+1 for comparing Renfrow to a non-white guy. First I've seen. Bravo
