It’ll be interesting to see if it matters much.

even by ONE freaking point gave the Bird Flock all the hype & encouragement (and mauling TN week earlier) they needed to get over the hump of disrespect!
It didn't have to go down that way in the Clemson home game but we gave them an opening the 2nd half with inconsistent & poir iffensive play and then the fumble with 2 minute to go.
Clemson football sadly has & will continue to pay for that unneeded & somewhat surprising loss, in state, for years to come!

After their mediocre season this year, you will see some major changing of minds. Also some NIL money increasing from other schools.

In which there is top OL talent in South Carolina…
There are in state kids that are going to be gamecocks no matter what …it just so happens they’re good this year…
Nothing more or less than that really.,.

lol. OL isn't exactly a position where a kid comes in and competes as a freshmen anyway.

They will always rely on instate relent. So congrats they might have a solid Oline in two years. They will live and die by SC recruits. See their 2010-2013 years. Some of their best players from in state. Marcus lattimore, clowny, Gilmore, etc…
There’s just too much pressure from family and relatives in this state.

Yep and I’ll take a 4 star out of a big Texas HS over a 5 star OL from South Carolina… It’s a dice roll on an OL from SC… The level of HS play and talent is far below Texas…
No doubt Clemson recruited and would’ve taken the lineman Scar got ….but I’m pretty happy with the success we’ve had and will likely continue with Texas OL..

I grew up in, and currently live in SC, but I agree with this.
