Spurrier jumps from Chickens' ship

http://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/florida-football/steve-spurrier-named-ambassador-consultant-florida-athletics/
Steve Spurrier is officially a Gator again.
Following 11 seasons as coach of the South Carolina Gamecocks (2005-2015), Spurrier has a new role with the Florida athletics department. Outgoing AD Jeremy Foley announced Friday that Spurrier has been named Ambassador and Consultant for the Florida Gators Athletics Department.
“It’s a great day for the Gator Nation to be able to welcome Coach Spurrier back home,” Foley said in a school release. “He has served as a tremendous ambassador to the University and the athletic department for 50-plus years and it’s only fitting that at this point in his career, he is back in Gainesville. Being a Gator has always meant so much to Coach Spurrier, but it means just as much to us have him come home.”

Funny considering, coots just named their indoor practice facility just before he "fired himself"
What a bunch those scalawags are

stop and think about how in the middle of last season,
Jul 29, 2016, 10:59 AM
|
|
after Spurrier ABANDONED his team and coaching staff, every usuck man, woman and child was defending Capt. Inebriated---many even saying how brave and "good for the team" it was.....and that included all The State's beat writers and every chicken blogger on the internet.
Now, after a 3-9 season which included a loss to El Cid, massive de-cootments, and an inability for the current staff to entice more than middlin' talent (at least on paper), its suddenly being mentioned by chickenfans that the usuck staff the last couple of seasons didn't perform so well and they let Spurrier off the hook by saying "the ol' ball sac just hated recruitin'"....Steve Spurrier, Jr,--once the probable "coach in waiting"---is now bearing the brunt of mindless blame tossed out by the hypocritical coots.....Tanner is a horrible AD.....Clemson must be cheating. But Spurrier should still be idolized even though he took off when the going got tough and has now abandoned that second-rate school yet again.
The entire college football world looks at usuck, shakes their collective heads and mutters:
"What a bunch of losers."

could never go back to UF as a coach. Now they probably wouldn't want him.
I wonder what OBS brings to the table in recruiting. Most Florida HS coaches don't trust him one bit.

As an Ambassador of both schools he will make double the money....lol
It really is sad the coots really thought he loved them and would stand by and help after quitting and getting his banner and name on one of their buildings...wow

So when you ambassador at one school and then you ambassador at this other school too , qhat happens when they play each other ? Do you shake your own hand ? Will your ceremonial jacket be dual colored right down to the sleeve cuffs ? What is an ambassador at a college anyway ?

Oh my goodness, my wife's Aunt called crying about Spurrier

A few minutes ago. She said they thought he would be a Gamecock for life after the school gave him everything.
I laughed but thought why would you call a Clemson fan crying the blues....lol I guess she'll not wear her purse with his picture anymore. By the way we love her Aunt but she is considered the biggest airhead in the family.
They all seem to fit that mold except confessed coot...lol

And want them to wear sackcloth and ashes to work at least all of next week, but. DAYUM! Talk about an obvious effort to shaft a former employer and the entire fanbase!
If ever there was a question, it seems now well settled that Spurrier intended to harm USC.
Maybe he was on Dabo's payroll as among others.
