Total BS. If we only had 2-3 receivers, he would be 1-2. We have so many top WRs, have to spread it around. Would not trade any of ours for one of theirs.

That list is an absolute joke. Tee Higgins and Justyn Ross are the two best receivers in the conference. The draft will agree. Just wait for it.

The list is very clearly a ranking by total receiving yards. It simply lists the top 6 receivers by yards. It’s not “ranking” them, especially since this channel is run by the ACC itself.

Their rankings were clearly heavily, heavily weighted by receiving yards, but Higgins was actually 6th in yards, while Curtis was 5th. Those two were flipped.

That's what I thought at first too. Custis has more yards than Higgins though.

Well said! Our "spreading it around" makes us very dangerous to any opponent we may face. There is no easy path for them. They can "pick their poison", but we still kill them. And, there is not a darn thing they can do about it. Kind of fun, ain't it?

Not exactly snap counts, but Tee only had 7 receptions in the 2nd half the entire year.
Here are the 2nd half receptions for everyone above him: Meyers - 42 Harmon - 32 Dortch - 35 Zaccheaus - 41

When i count Tee Higgins reception the second half of the season i count 26 receptions. So i don't know where this statement that he had 7 comes from.

if they are ranking it by stats, then sure, tee is the 5th best receiver in the league. If its by talent, then tee is the best, kind of like how Jonathan Taylor got the most carries in the fbs and had the most yards and won the doak walker award, but we all know ETN is the most talented

ranked ahead of him are excellent receivers, but better than Tee, really? I mean, would Tee really be 5th string behind all of these guys if they all played on the same team? It's just like the All-Conference teams; in the ACC, Clemson players could easily, legitimately comprise 70-80% of the first team. Yet, that would seem biased and uninteresting to readers who are fans of other schools, so it's a no-go from the get-go.

And Coach Swinney is in it for the team and not the individual which inadvertently & coincidentally helps him as a head coach.
However, at all-conference selection time, it has an impact when the wealth is spread.

Not just Tee though. I feel like this years group of WR's blocking has been especially good. Both of the freshman (Ross and Kendrick) are tenacious blockers and I think that helped light a spark in the group.

Which if those guys would you take over Higgins?
Trying to be neutral - maybe Harmon, maybe Dortch, but honestly we all know Higgins is better. Not as many receptions to go around when you spread the ball to 5+ excellent receivers.

Even with the plethora of receivers we use, I expect him next year to easily lead the ACC in reception yardage.More established Trevor Lawrence throwing to him every game. This didn't happen this year. He'll be the obvious #1.
