no i agree but now i think we see this is over

Nov 7, 2012, 12:03 AM

but the stuff about needing a radical adjustment is laughable, we are keeping a huge majority in the house, expanding our majority of governors, and went head to head (and may even win the popular, yet to be determined) against an incumbent. We are fine.

Romney probably wins FL...

but you're right, he may also lose VA and CO. I've read that a lot of the northern VA vote has yet to be counted, so that won't help Romney at all.

In the end, Obama's likability and "cool" factor were just too tough for a guy who looked and sounded like another stock politician. I thought maybe Romney would make his campaign more substantive by adding Paul Ryan to the ticket, and he did for during the first debate. But he ultimately wasted Ryan's ability to lay out, in stark terms, just what the stakes are of not addressing our fiscal problems right now.

How's that? He's down almost 50k and most of what's left

Nov 7, 2012, 12:04 AM

is from Miami-Dade.

Miami Dade and Brownard are not in yet in Florida.

I wouldn't hold my breath for Mitt to win Florida.

It's all been reported in except for okaloosa at 98%.

Miami-Dade county and the counties next to it are the only still reporting.

Two wars
A drug plan
And the Bush tax cuts

All unpaid for.

Now he's the guy you look to to fix a debt??? That's awesome.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

what's he done lately?

Nov 7, 2012, 12:08 AM

And, frankly, I don't have a problem with any of the things you listed. We can pay for those things by fixing entitlements as Ryan has proposed, but I'm afraid that with a Democratic president and Senate we won't have the chance.

Falsehood flies, and truth comes limping after it, so that when men come to be undeceived, it is too late; the jest is over, and the tale hath had its effect: like a man, who hath thought of a good repartee when the discourse is changed, or the company parted; or like a physician, who hath found out an infallible medicine, after the patient is dead.

We are not fine. Any chance we had of getting rid of Obamacare is now gone. It is here to stay and will eventually lead us to full nationalized single payer system. That was the game plan all along after Hillarycare was defeated.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

that's the other thing I'm afraid of***
