Not the word I want to use but don’t want to be banned. Ran a fake punt up late in the game by over 30 points. Almost got his punter killed, then his players were upset with the hit, which it was a late hit, but no need for the fake. Then Schiano ran all the way across the field and him and Day went at it. Except Days scary a## just yelled from his sideline. He wanted no part of Schiano lol.

That does not look like a called fake. Rugby style punter rolled out to his right as normal and saw nothing but 50 yards of green grass in front of him and took off. Punter probably should've realized the situation and not done that, but I don't think this one was on Day.

Definitely on Day. He obviously dislikes Greg, that’s why he fired him when he took over. And if the player did that on his own it is indicative of the coaching staff. We had a punter go rogue one time. And Dabo lit into him like we have never seen Dabo light into a player.

Y’all are correct, it wasn’t called and the punter is coached to take that when it is there. It is also on the coach to tell the punter when it is not appropriate to take it even if it is there. It is still on the coach and more a reflection of Cryin Ryan’s overall coaching culture than a criticism of a single play. And his little tantrum on the sideline standing behind his get back coaches also shows his true colors. This guy makes Doreen look good.

I remember and I almost remember a 45 second clip of Dabo screaming at him on the sideline. Dabo lit into him. Day didn’t do a thing because he knew it was coming.
