Without LJ beat a 4-2 Chicago team

Chicago is very inconsistent and they have gotten a little lucky in a few games. Maybe more importantly it's the NFL, this early in the season anybody can beat anybody.

Yeah I guess I forget how early it still is. Plus they are all professional athletes regardless of how good or bad the team is. Guess I was just surprised that with LJ out, they still won

Also has to be weird to end up the first win for a jets team that had lost 7 up to that point

Chicago is not what their record implies. They haven't beaten anybody. Washington and Dallas are mediocre at best and the Raiders and Saints are well the Raiders and Saints. Have to beat the teams you play but some 4-2 teams are legit, Chicago wasn't, so they're 4-3 now.

Rule #1 - Everyone gets paychecks. Even the Jets players.

Secondly, the NFL is theoretically structured for every team to be even. Baltimore has played some good teams early and their all pro QB has been hurt.

Hard to win in Baltimore and they still have a very solid defense. As mentioned Chicago and even Atlanta have been all over the place. One week they look like one of the best teams in the league and then the next they may look like the worst team in the league. Their fans have to be pulling their hair out.

Same way as the Jets beating the Bengals I suppose...

Baltimore was coming off a BYE.

Chicago was not.
Chicago has beaten some bad teams recently. (Raiders, Saints)
They are improved, but not world beaters.
Ravens went with # 3 qb and it paid off.

Ahhh. A novel concept

Because Nate Wiggins had an interception when his team really needed it. :)

I miss that.
