Chase Brice has 11 more years of eligibility - maybe he can go down there.

I see it a little bit differently.

I think Napier dodged a bullet.

The Gator Collective seems to be a rogue group. They wrote a check with their mouth, literally, that their butt couldn't cash.

The kid is obviously selling himself to the highest bidder. I suspect he will be a problem child wherever he goes. Seems like he would be a good fit for aTm or Colorado (when Deion's son leaves).

Thanks for your perspective, Bretfsu! I'm a real fan of all your posts (whether they concern Clemson, FL St, FL, or other odds & ends). Will be interesting at FL--they seem to be still struggling with new coach (& previous 10 years of coaching changes & constant challenges).

Agree with you Brett. I see this as a move in the right direction actually. A statement that we’d rather let you walk than hold us hostage for more $$$.

This crap is ridiculous. The NCAA needs to get their rear end to Florida and investigate this crap. They have gone from giving two years of probation for giving a kid $500 buying another kid a coat for the winter and paying another kids dental bill when he had no cash to buying a player for 13 million and now refusing to investigate. Ruining college football is an understatement.

I hate to say it, but maybe it’s time for the NFL to take on the expense of a Minor League. They have obscene amounts of money and tickets keep going up in price. So make the minors affordable and pay the players across the board.
THEN take the next group and play college football and annually, if the NFL decides to bring a college player to the minors, or a minor to major, pay them accordingly, with college players only getting college and room and board like the old days (say 2019 outside of the SEC).
This would give us a N Dakota State/Montana type group in CFP and play a 16 team playoff. Let those chasing money chase away.
It MIGHT wash the NIL stain off, but of course won’t happen any time soon.
