Rough series to start with

Hopefully this will be like '04...they had a rough start & made it to super regionals. Plus not exactly starting out w/ a chump team, WS is a defending conference champ & NCAA tournament team from last year. We got young guys, gotta get a few kinks worked out but think 3 games into year 2 is a little soon to throw the panic switch.

very disappointing to look this bad and ill prepared against a team from up north. you'd swear we were the cold weather guys who havent gotten much work if you didnt know better

Even the locations in northern Ohio have had some warm weather this Feb. It was supposed to get to 60F in Cleveland today.
Also, I thought that I read that during the previous weekend, Wright State had scrimmaged U of L three times (i.e., better weather and game experience).

I was just fixing to post the same thing you just said. Reading the comments it's like " are you serious " comparing Monte to BB.

Long long way to go. I said a couple weeks ago to not be surprised to see the team take a step back. He's got some good players, albeit young and/ or inexperienced that will take time to grow.

I am curious why jolley not catching?

Anyway, Monte has to play and pitch people to get his rotation down and unfortunately get players experience. Like Dabo, he has a long term strategy.

Usuck plays wright state next weekend. Like it or not, coots got a great team this year. N fact d1 said usuck has best rotation of starting pitching in the country.

We'll see how good wright state is or isn't.

We're going to be ok.
