Say, where is the Dow today (even minus the 200 points since yesterday) relative to, say, the day W left office?

You clearly forget the stock market crashed under Clinton

before Bush took office. The markets then climbed to all time highs under Bush. The collapse at the end of Bush's 2nd term was due to the housing bubble bursting and the banking crisis. Both of those problems were created by policies put in motion by Clinton.
So please, get your facts together.
Your own charts show a growing market under Bush with a sudden collapse right before the end of his 2nd term. A collapse predicated on the policies of Clinton.

... when you people said we have to stop blaming Bush. And yet you're blaming Clinton for something that happened "right before the end of his (Bush's) second term?"
Priceless.

policies led directly to the housing bubble and banking crisis.
It is a fact that Bush inherited a fragile economy.
It is a fact that the Bush administration was warning Congress for years that there was a growing housing bubble and dangerous banking crisis.
Barney Frank and the dems laughed and ignored the Bush folks. Then they pushed Fannie and Freddie into subprime loans. Bush did not control Fannie and Freddie, Barney Frank and the dems did and Fannie and Freddie were at the heart of the subprime loan mess.
Clinton deregulated the banks which led to the banking crisis.
All one has to do is a little online research and you can easily find newspaper stories and youtube videos showing congressional testimony to prove everything I'm writing.
The general public doesn't know the truth because the media is in the bag for Obama, loved Clinton, and hated Bush. The media is not going to give you the truth. You have to go find it yourself.

You don't know what you're talking about. That you're able to blame Clinton for all the troubles of the Bush adminstration, while absolving that same administration of anything they may have left behind for Obama, is comical and pitiful at the same time.

You are not to be believed. But you're funny, so you got that going for you. The only thing you've proved is how obtuse you're willing to be to avoid acknowledging that anybody who disagrees with you could possibly be right about anything.

I planned on buying today after the initial selloff I thougt was coming and did. I will make money on this almost certainly.

money. Most people are not smart enough to do that and think you buy and hold, which is why most people lose money in the stock market.
The market is not up over Obama's 4 years due to Obama's policies. The economy is very fragile and barely breaking even, it's not really growing.
Bush's actions stopped the economic crisis, but jobs were still lost for some of Obama's first year. But the crisis itself was over and the recovery started 6 months after Obama was sworn in, which was before any of his policies went into effect.
The markets have been up under Obama thanks to QE-infinity and a steady decline in the value of the dollar. The markets are currently artificially inflated, which is why any mishandling of the fiscal cliff by Obama will create a new recession and huge sell off of the markets. We could easily have a negative 2,500 point correction.
