A solid USCjr. fan was sharing this morning that their #1 target was Gregg Marshall- former Winthrop & current Wichita St. coach. Surprised that the Tnet crew hasn’t brought his name too. He also mentioned Frank Haith from Miami & Tulsa.
At least they took out the trash with Mafia Martin!

Marshall is a complete jerk. Martin is a good guy and will recover well.

He resigned in 2020 after numerous allegations of verbal and physical abuse spanning several years.
I have personally known Gregg for nearly 50 years and I can tell you he has always had what I would categorize as a rather abrasive personality. He got it honestly. His father was total a$$ hat.

and some of that obviously rubbed-off on Gregg.
While I think he is a good coach, I'm not sure he would consider coaching at Clemson even if the job was offered.

I’ll be honest, I had to google whether Frank Haith is still alive. That has to be one of the dumbest decisions they could make. Therefore, you may be on to something.
