Texas A&M quarterback idolizes Deshaun Watson, almost chose Clemson
Texas A&M quarterback Kellen Mond will have the full attention of Clemson’s coaching staff this week, but the attention from the Clemson coaches is something Mond is used to. At one point during his recruitment, Mond considered attending Clemson and patterned his game after title-winning Tiger quarterback Deshaun Watson. Chase and Hunter. If he would have pulled the trigger sooner, who knows what would have happened.

that our coaches were recruiting him. I trust out coaches to spot talent, so if they wanted him he must be very talented. Fortunately for us, I don't think that O-line in front of him is very good at pass blocking.

Threat in his class so I’d imagine his offer was committable at some point. Now once we got hunter Johnson I doubt it was but the kid is definitely talented

Right behind Hunter and Fromm. I believe the story is accurate too. One, Hunter and Chase committed very early in the cycle and two, Clemson was a long way from home. (three, he would have transferred by now)

Our coaches do spot good talent. But they also develop the talent into great players. That is the difference in this young man. One, he's not facing as good of a defense everyday at practice as our QB's are. Secondly, he doesn't have our coaches guiding him to be a better person and player. Go Tigers

TAM has a good team, but not of the caliber as the Tigers. Bet the young man wo dets if decisions that got him where he is were the right ones. As the good book and Dabo says, grow where you're planted.

Talent wise they rank 15 per 247sports.com. Clemson ranks 9. TAM has a lot of talent

He’s obviously a good kid! Seems like he idolized Watson for all the right reasons! Except against the Tigers I hope he kicks some SEC ###!

I'm not one bit worried at all

Games are not won with the players alone. They help out a great bit, but Football is much like the game of chess. It's a game played on invented space. Players are but a small part of it, as games are won or lost with a clipboard. It certainly helps with the game plan when you have guys of extreme athletic ability and high football IQ. However, if a coach doesn't know how to incorporate that into a game plan they will still lose 90% of the time. Clemson has coaches who are brilliant with a clip board. Add in the athletic and IQ factor and you have a recipe for Championships every season. This QB has a very weak offensive line, a horrible coach, and a gross lack of skillset players surrounding him. That team lacks depth in their own stadium, and I fear the 12th man will not help him out much. GO TIGERS!
My prediction: BODY BAGS BY HALF-TIME
