I believe we are 2 years away from getting back into the playoff hunt. Right now we do not have the talent on offense to be a 10 win team, much less compete for the title. I believe it will start to change with this recruiting class that is coming in. Offensively, we’re lacking a deep threat receiver and with Moore and Wesco coming in, hopefully one of the two will take care of that problem. If Dabo does decide to use the portal to get us some more athletic OL players, that will also be an immediate help. We kind of know what to expect from the running back position next year but I hope we can pick up some speed for the backfield in the ‘25 class and I do not think we have a game changer sitting behind Shipley and Mafah so I would hope to either use the portal or pick up an explosive guy in the ‘25 class. At QB, we’re going to have Cade for the next two years and I believe he will only get better as he settles down and gets accustom to the speed of college football. I believe he’ll be a good QB for us once he gets some play makers around him.
Defensively, we have good young players that will continue to mature as they play more and we will be fine on that side of the ball based on talent alone.
Special teams has always been hit or miss for us but if I was in Dabo’s position, I would try to find a proven kicker in the portal to help us out for next year.
We have had a rough last 3 years but I believe Riley will have our offense back to what we’re accustom to seeing.

I think 1 year away from being in the playoffs, as long as they keep wesco and Moore commited this team will rebound. Klubnik is alot better than the majority of fans believe. The OL will need some attention for sure if there ever was a reason for Dabo to use the portal actively it would be OT and DE going into next year.

Until we bring in new coaches at many positions it won't matter who we bring in recruiting wise.
