RIP Cory Groover

Cory Groover has died. He was in life support because he got hit by a dump truck:

Life is tenuous. I feel for his family and friends. It is a sad day in the Clemson family as well.

Hung out with Cory a few times in college

He seemed like a nice guy and was friends with a few of my friends who were on our athletic teams.

I'll always remember him dancing at the line of scrimmage before the ball was snapped when the crowd got really loud against Miami in the fourth quarter in '04. He always played with a lot of enthusiasm, and he will be missed.

He and I are from the same hometown. Known him since he was a kid. He was larger than life and just a really good person. Everyone here is devastated.

He ran into the back of a dump truck and broke every bone in his body and face. Very sad
