So sick of seeing this guy and his horrible play calling. Klubnik is great, but Vizzina is greater. Put him in before the season is lost!!!. Dabo needs to start thinking of the nxt best QB coach, Riley is not it!!!

I dont think Riley is as bad as we believe, but i do believe the damage is done and He and Dabo are not on the same page and do not trust each other.
Its time for Dabo to get back to his mindset he had in 2011, reinvent and revolutionize the Clemson offense. Give the next OC full autonomy and trust him to build something.

Get an nfl assistant offensive coach they run a little bit of everything a multiple offense that puts pressure on the defense. The Clemson offense is dead.

Then how do you explain the collapse in offense??. Riley isnt utilizing Klubnik's strengths, Vizzina is the better QB IMHO. If Dabo wants to save this team going forward look at an OC from the NFL Todd Monken was a wiz at uga !!

Vizzina is not better.
I believe Riley is trying to marry his philosophy with what Dabo wants and its not working out.
Air Raid bread and butter are Y Cross, Stick, mesh, and Flood. Really only see flood. Dabo has never liked passing over the middle and would rather give his guys a shot 1v1 on the outside where its safer to throw the ball.
NFL OC might demand the respect needed to get Dabo to relent philosophy.

I don't think Riley is the culprit here. I believe that Dabo still is the primary play caller, supervising, overriding, Riley's calls. Before Riley, Dabo called all the plays. In my judgement, seeing offensive plays of the 1920's, Dabo is controlling Riley's calls. If you don't realize that Dabo is the most stubborn man ever, and it's his way or nothing else, you have not made a good judgement of Dabo as OC. How many, many, years was it with fullback up the middle on the first play of every possession. How many yards were lost with the bubble screen? The only reason I can think of that Dabo doesn't use more passes toward the middle of the field, is that he hasn't learned you can't(rarely) ever score running toward the sideline. He is entirely too conservative. No creativeness in play calling. In the LSU game they had good success three times with the QB rolling out to the right and passing. Why did they stop using the play?? His success has been outstanding. He needs to curtail his stubbornness and "my way " philosophy's. He would become a much better, successful coach.

Riley is bad, Cade is bad and Vizzinna is bad....sorry to burst your bubble. There is no magic fix to this
I'd give Pearman a shot before Vizzinna

I still need more clarity to know how I feel about the job he is doing.

My two questions are:
1. How much involvement did he have in the offense at SMU and TCU? Was he in charge? Or was Sonny Dykes the brains behind the operation?
2. How much involvement does he have now at Clemson? Is he in charge? Or is Dabo the brains behind the operation?
If Riley is in charge now, he is clearly not doing well. In that case, why is our offense so different from what TCU did? Is Riley forced to operate within the confines of the "Clemson offense?"
If Dabo is in charge now, why bring in an offensive coordinator and pay him nearly $2 million a year to be a robot? And in that case, why does Dabo think he should be the guy calling plays?

He ran SD’s offense at TCU and our offense looks nothing like it.

I don’t think Riley is bad. I also don’t think he’s great. I think Cades mental issues make Riley seem worse than he is.

I’m curious: have you spent any time this season watching our quarterback? The guy who was sailing passes over players’ heads, or just missing wide open receivers against LSU? The one who directly created 14 points for GT Saturday? Riley isn’t the problem. He’s dealing with DJU II.
