Lamecocks living in a fool's paradise

All of my life, I have dealt with individuals attempting to succeed by taking short cuts to accomplish their goals. The current example here I see is the new lamecock coach attempting to construct a "team" off portal players, many of whom have left under dubious reasons. Whatever you may feel about the lamecock endeavor, I feel the radio announcer who so confidently stated the lamecocks were "pacing ahead" of Clemson needs a full cognitive examination. I place his statement right up there besides other lamecock notable football experts who also brazenly stated Clemson was "cycling out" or, my favorite: "not better if at all." Beating a weak Vandy team late is nothing to brag about. No matter how you slice their bread, they are a consistent losing team followed by a losing fanbase.

The transfer portal, Clemson had better players on our roster. Beamer taking Rattler tells you all you need to know about him. They'll never be Clemson.

They're "pacing ahead" in numbers only, not in quality. And when you pull together a hodge podge of different characters, that's what you get - a hodge podge. I like Coach Shane, but he'll be challenged to coalesce them into a team.

I guess that’s what happens when Netflix puts the movie the longest yard (Sandler) version on the front page. It gives hope to a washout qb, thugs, and convicts, that they can somehow achieve a miracle.
But it’s just a movie.

Why are y’all worried about or discussing the coots? They have not shown the ability to compete with us so why get all worked up? It makes you look scared and weak of their progress. Clemson has things to be worried about like the SEC bumping players through NIL. So worry about things which are a threat to us and let all the rest yap at our heels

Or maybe we just like making fun of their stupidity and ignorance.

I will ‘see’ your “why worry about the gamecocks”, and raise you “why worry about the SEC and NIL”.

100% agree, but seriously, they just started their favorite and most meaningful time - the OFFseason… It’s like watching children play and dissecting their logic - there is none. I feel like some fans behave too much like siblings, while I consider them an inferior breed too be ignored. It’s really not necessary to constantly claim superiority, the numbers speak for themselves.
