I understand Dabo wants to continue to start Cade. And give him every opportunity to to get this team back on track. I also understand and appreciate Cade not giving up on Clemson. But coming into the season Cade was projected as a 1st round draft pick. Now Cades projected as a 7th round pick. Which leads to this question is Cade playing best for Cade? Wouldn’t sitting out the rest of the year and transferring allow Cade to play next season and perhaps work his way up to a better Draft pick? Also gives Clemson a opportunity to see if any QBS currently on the roster has what it takes to be Clemson starter next season.

If Cade redshirts, a team would for sure pay him $1-2 Million next season.

Tell CK2 that Vizz will start vs UNC & get 2 series to show his stuff

Dabs tells CK2 that If Vizz flubs up on those first two series, then the QB job is his (CK2’s) for the rest of the game.
But, if Vizz plays well in either (or both) of those first two series, then Vizz will play for the entire 1st half.
Next, if Vizz’s overall play in 1st half was ‘good enough,’ then Dabs asks CK2 if he would be willing to come into the game at some point (maybe as late as midway Q4) to try to ‘save the game’ if Vizz had fallen apart.
If CK2 says ‘no’ to each of the three scenarios, then Dabo knows that CK2 has decided to preserve his RS, at which point the time to cut the cord has arrived.
