Notice the clever distraction art technique by Science Magazine to shift the argument in favor of mainstreaming men to compete against women in a women’s sports venue.
Instead of focusing on the true (genetically immutable) chromosomal gender characteristic, Science Magazine is focusing on testosterone levels, reporting their findings that those male athletes whose testosterone levels are comparable to the testosterone levels in women have no athletic advantage vs. women.
This is an attempt to cleverly open a back-door for hormonal altered male to compete against women.
Always deflection away from the core argument, which the leftists are losing despite sports media’s unabashed promotion of trannies competing in women’s athletic events -&- majority support from universities to allow the same.

However, a 2015 study of transgender runners found that transgender women who received treatment to lower their testosterone levels did no better against female peers than they had previously done against male runners — suggesting trans atheltes don’t have an advantage, according to Science Magazine.

I've been called a liberal so I guess I qualify, but it's not how I feel. Why are we supposed to boycott Jack Daniels?
Also, don't forget that some on the wacky right like to boycott as well. Personally I'd need a strong reason to boycott anything. The only thing I ever boycotted was Chase Bank after they pulled interest-rate shenanigans with their credit cards in 2009.

Traditionally they were on the left, and a result of something a conservative racist whatever did or said. Prior to my 20th birthday I couldn't list the number of conservative/republican boycotts on one hand. Republicans just didn't boycott things. Today they have a new cause every day, just like the left.
When republicans start acting like democrats......this is a good example of that.
I boycott things because of my wallet mostly. A good car is a good car, or not, period. Doesn't matter if they dress up a drag queen to sell it to me, or Clint Eastwood. If it's a bad car, neither a drag queen nor Clint Eastwood COULD sell it to me. Just how I operate. Life's too short to worry about boycotts. I THINK? this used to be a conservative stance, but not so much anymore.

It's like Tom Cruise. The guy's a lunatic, but I like his movies, and so I watch his movies. I don't care about what he's like personally because that's not what I'm paying for.
When I mentioned right-wing boycotts I was thinking as far back as the Dixie Chicks around the time of the Iraq War, and Starbucks for the War on Christmas, but also more recently like boycotting Nike because of BLM/Colin Kaepernick.

For office over a Dem nor support anything conservative.
So maybe you're really really good at hiding your "independence" but your independence seems to only lean to one side.
I'm fairly liberal, in old school sense, socially but I don't try to pass myself as a Dem cause social issues are wayyyyyyy down on my list of priorities politically.

Imagine a bunch of MAGAs assaulting and holding a trans speaker hostage for hours. For some reason I suspect the collective yawn of the media would be replaced with outrage and there would be mass arrests of anyone who was even present, regardless of guilt. Legal double standards are what the left does best.
