I ordered a gas-powered edger from Home Depot

I got it and the box was stapled together and taped such that it had been opened. No big deal. I do the routine checks. Cosmetically, everything looked fine at first. Then I smelled the gas tank. It smelled like gas. "Hmmm, ECHO even tests the units with real gas before they leave the factory? COOL!"
I unwrap further and see that blade has clearly been used.
None of that matters if it works, right? I take it outside, get it to start right up. Not much power, let's let the engine warm up. I let it idle for 2-3 minutes, pull the throttle to 100% and I get the kind of power you would expect from this:

The only reason I ordered online is that Lowes...you know...the one-stop shop home improvement store, did not have a SINGLE gas-powered edger in the building --- on the floor or in inventory. Just lol.
What's the most obnoxious and ceremonious way I can take this 7 foot long monstrosity of a ripped up cardboard box and the assembled contents and dump it in the floor at the customer service counter without going to jail?

Seems like many others are having a lot of luck doing THAT.

Laid some flooring yesterday and wanted a powered saw that could do miter and horizontal cuts and rips. Found this baby

but not stocked at every Lowes so needed to go to pretty far from work to pick it up. There was only 1 in stock and my spidey senses told me that there was a problem when I saw the box: box was beaten up and packing tape looked like it was a re-do. Since I would had to drive across bummfuck GA to find another one, I went against my instincts and bought it anyway.
Getting ready to start laying flooring, I opened the box and you could tell that it was repackaged. Biggest issue was that there was sawdust on the bottom side of the saw meaning it was used and the blade was also used. An allen wrench tightening tool was also missing and no telling what else was wonky with it. I was thinking about keeping and using it anyway until I read the vinyl flooring installation instructions. The tiles could be cut with a standard utility blade and that was fairly easy. Finished the floor and boxed the pieceofshit back up.
Took it back to Lowes today and told them it was used. Maybe they will resell it but hopefully they will do the right thing.
Before and After pigs attached.

rated for more hours of use than some homeowner rated one. I got one a few years ago, still ALWAYS starts on the second pull. I use it a lot on my vast rugged mountainside estate, and it's held up really well. I got it at Home Depot.
