For the first time in my life I don't have cable, what is the best app or streaming service I can download on the firestick so that I can watch college football??

YouTube TV is the most common and is very reliable.

it does seem that during the most high volume events and at the most critical game moments the servers get overloaded and lag. I saw this a lot before 2025 major events but the occurrence count has trimmed down a bit this year.

( This is observed on Fiber on Greenville Main Street infrastructure)

Looks like it costs about 80 bucks per month. Would you say it's worth it?

Yes YouTube TV is the best service if you are looking for something cheaper

ESPN just launched a new ESPN,Hulu, Disney + bundle that includes all of the live ESPN channels for 29.99. BUT you only get ESPN and ABC channels you won’t be able to watch games on other networks like Fox and CBS

Look up troypoint on the internets. He has a bunch of tips for firestick users. I like the sportsfire app for live sports, the plex app (not live sports here) and Pluto of course. We also piggy back on our friends Directv app for live sports and local news. Sharing a sub is a good option, especially for trusted friends and family. This can cut cost tremendously.

One of the nice things about a firestick or other such device is that you can carry it with you. Plug it into any TV, connect to internet and you have all your familiar set up. We have a couple of them for various TVs in house and to travel. I forgot to mention earlier that the sportfire app is free! as are the others I mentioned.

FYI - while options like SportsFire exist, they are not exactly legal.

I think the best bet for Clemson fans now is the new ESPN streaming service. You get every football game on any ESPN channel (this includes ACC and SEC network) as well as ABC.

Now you will miss games on NBC and CBS but I don't believe Clemson will be playing on any of those channels this year or most years anyway.

Agree. Clemson will not be playing on those channels.

I use this app on my cell phone and it is free and you get all the channels. If you want to watch ABC, you just tune to ABC east or ABC NEW YORK. The streaming signal does not work in remote areas or in basement floors of buildings. Give it a try, it is free.
