“Little man” Renfrow
May 21, 2020, 10:17 PM

Is anyone else annoyed by how often the announcers refer to Renfrow as “little man”.
I know they are trying to play up the walk on underdog status but it certainly grinds my gears. Especially since it’s in the call for the winning touchdown

Yes! I prefer Big Game Hunter.

Love the duel meaning: Hunter shows up especially big in big games and He hunts big game like elephants.
That tackle Renfrow made on the huge Bama d-line guy who was rumbling for the endzone on the fumble at the beginning of the 2nd half was HUGE! We held Bama to a field goal on that drive that proved the be the difference in the final score.
I sure miss 3rd and Renfrow!

I know, right?
Every time I watch that replay, it's the same thing: "Renfrow! The little man makes another ENORMOUS play!"
And the (little guy) leaps into the arms of a 300-lb teammate who holds him aloft until the other guys get there.
I mean, what are those announcers thinking? And do they have to think it every time?

Vince papale was legendary for him accomplishments as a nobody who made an NFL roster and became a team leader.
Hunter Refrow set the world on fire as a championship winning dynamo in college with more talent, but the same meager start.
I’m just saying, if they made a movie about Vince, they’ll build monuments for Refro.

Not judge a book by its cover. 'Little man' is highly complimentary and inspirational to those whose heart is bigger than their frame. #13!

Well...they couldn’t call UNCLE Renfrow “baby face”, so I guess they were stuck with “little man” (who make big plays).

After our last game vs Bama, you know Tony Brown looked at that 44-16 scoreboard and said, "Well, at least I kept #13 out of the end zone this time."

Hopefully he continues to get better and play well. I want to see him get a 30 million dollar contract or something solid.

and the coaches really seem to like him. Of course, what's not to like. He works hard, he plays hard, and when you need to move the chains, the boy is money.
