disagree 1000%. think this team.. 1) needs all the experience we can get. playing does nothing but help guys like nnoko, b'game, roper, filer, sidy etc.... and 2) we need to get the taste of the duke loss out of our mouth.

I would much rather have something to cheer about than nothing at all. Playing someone like LSU/UGA, or another ACC team can give us some much needed experience. I also would like our chances of winning it, and ending the season on a very positive note.

OK that's just stupid. For that matter You won't be playing in anything. The guys who will do care and it means something to them. And, since you don't care enough about our post season play then please.don't care enough to be yapping on a message board.

gain game experience. Heck, with no seniors, the entire team needs to play and practice as much as the NCAA will allow before next season.
Honestly, I don't get all that excited about the prospect of winning the NIT title, but I do get very excited about the chance for this young group of Tigers to play more games.

I couldn't care less about the NIT, this team deserves to be in the Dance. They had no business losing to Pitt or Duke, I feel bad for the guys....they never give up no matter how much they are down. They pretty much just had their ticket snatched from them. I'm sure they'll play hard in the NIT, but 22 wins(2 over Duke 1 over Pitt) would have been enough to punch a ticket.

Not In Tournament
I agree that the NIT isn't worth our time. It's basically a losers bracket. Different strokes for different folks though...
