This stupid Nike elite 11 **** has no meaning, there not even in pads. The only thing that counts is that Watson does in REAL games.

Chad will make him prove himself - he may not start his first or second year just like Tajh - we'll see?

Deshaun obviously needs to put on 15 or so lbs anyway, he is a great QB and will pay dividends 2 years down the road, he is a definite baller!!!!!

This is not bad news. The kid is unbelievably talented and is an elite QB prospect - there is no doubt in that. This should serve as a learning tool for him, as he is not a finished product. Can your mind picture just how good he is going to be with The Chad developing him? In some ways, it is encouraging to see that he has not gotten to the point that he (and others) feel he is "there", he can look to grow and learn as he matures. Think Boyd would have been ranked so high? He's turned out pretty good because he knew he had to work and study and continue to push himself. Often these types of players become more successful because they are hungrier, more eager to evaluate themselves, take criticism better, develop stronger bonds with the other players and staff.
Watson is going to have to work hard to beat out Kelly, who is mega-talented too. I think this experience will serve him (and Clemson) well as he looks to his exceedingly bright future.

The biggest concern is he is linked to Morris. If he isn't starting the 1st year then good chance he may never be coached by Morris. Only hope is he is tied to Clemson more than Morris. No way to truly know until the big move happens.

Therefore Elite 11 rankings do not matter in the least bit.

the teams. but it's 11 on 11,both sides + special teams and coaching. with dabo and co. getting our players, and morris and b.v. calling the o and d, and the players that are amongst the best combination of athletic ability, and scholastic aptitude, d.w. will be mentioned for the hiesman trophy and numerous qb specific awards, before he leaves tigertown, provided he can beat out c.k., which,in and of itself, will be no easy task!
