And so true too. Looking on my facebook timeline last night coot fans were getting hysterical and giddy that Bama was winning and they could tout their "Mighty SEC". Even though the SEC took it on the chin in bowl season.
"When I was young, I was sure of many things; now there are only two things of which I am sure: one is, that I am a miserable sinner; and the other, that Christ is an all-sufficient Savior. He is well-taught who learns these two lessons." -John Newton
Great Sec teams have near as many pathetic fans as we do here locally. It's because they have some success of their own. The rest are hanging on to the shirt tails of Bama and LSU. They got a new hero now since t&am beat Bama
wherein individual units would cheer for the battalion, brigade, division, etc. The only problem was that the truly successful units regularly sneered at the non-contributors, asking: "What the h3ll have you done to add to our success?" Seems they didn't take too kindly to those thinking they could "ride the coattails." Don't believe it? Ask Bama fans what they REALLY think of some of their cohorts!
