While yes that's true it's a tough road for them to win the SEC but their coach died last year. They did the best they could at the time under the circumstances.

Miss st, Missouri and vandy will never compete with their own conference.
So somehow that's somehow this you see has been able to stop them the cannibalizing of each other and keeping each other satisfied at the same time I don't understand that

I guess these schools are firing their coaches before the end of the season so they can get a jump start on contacting potential replacements.

I kid w/ this, of course.
That said, Mississippi State is 1 of those programs I'd love to see break the glass ceiling. Had success in the 40s, but just never been able to break through the stranglehold of the Alabama's/Georgia's/Tennessee's/LSU's/etc. Plus they produced 1 of my favorite comedians (Jerry Clower)
