Clemson had two first rounds and a second round return before to get a championship.. Bresee just strikes me as a guy who would want a stronger finish to his career

A player could actually hurt their draft projection or sustain an injury which is why it's somewhat rare for players with a first round grade to return for another year.

He has already had one ACL leg and statistically once you have one there is a good chance you could have another, why not get paid good with up front money incase you do.

Would have to agree. I initially thought he may need a mental year and not be ready mentally so he would stay. If he's gotten the first round grade, go.
Not being cold but he really hasn't done much here at Clemson other than get a lot of nil and help throughout tough times.
Can't fault him but next season would be when he'll be missed the most...Thanks to Ruke. He and Davis will be missed. Bryan, not so much. Heck, he rarely saw the field.

He has not publicly announced a decision but the conventional wisdom is he would be a 1st round pick so he should go.

I would be gone too. Especially given the medical issues he himself has already faced this year. Tomorrow, much less next year, is never guaranteed.

We all thought that with the Power Rangers D-line too and they gave it another go. Never know, but the only one I can see possibly returning is XT, he could benefit from 1 healthy season

While I cant think of a better place for him to have been to support him during all the difficult times he and his family has gone through these last few years, I can only imagine it will do him some good to move on to a next stage of life.
