So far we're not taking advantage of the easier holes. 5, 8, 9, 10, and 12 the top teams have feasted on them. Savannah went thru at even. Got to make birdies on this course. Most likely -20 to -25 wins it. Come on Tigers, get it going.

We must have eaten something bad between rounds. We have started poorly. Early, I know. But Annabelle bogeys that par 5... yet Kentucky and the others have feasted off these holes we're bogeying. Hate that Chloe bogeys it to close the first round. Was sooo hoping she'd at minimum have a clean card -5.
Ok, need to get our big girls going. Isabella is due for a low round as is Annabelle.

@Skeeta56 the men have fallen off the map. I did not see your post on the results of this last tourney but I just looked it up. That’s horrible. Is Byrd just not getting quality players or just not quality play out of quality players?

Several factors imo rhp. Even though Byrd had been here, recruits knew CLP was leaving at some point. But the recruits we brought in have good resumes but not top 100 juniors type quality. Will Baker is.
One thing imo that hurt us was the extra years players. Zack Gordon, Colby Patton, and Kyle Cottam all elected to come back. That was great but it left us with no new recruits. So Byrd in essence had to bring in portal transfers. Said transfers have flashed but they're not Lucas, Nottingham, Jacob bridgeman type caliber.
Hopefully it's back to normal and he can bring in a bigger class.

Can you believe it. Gives us more time to admire that leaderboard. Kinda bummed it is a weather delay. Especially with the holes we were fixing to play. Looks like on radar, a pretty nasty storm. It is just one round tomorrow. Not sure if they'll send the ladies back out today. I highly doubt they could get more than a few holes in... so, we may get to enjoy this view overnight.
