to defend himself to anyone...much less some punkass kid from Sparklecity or a bunch of whiney internet warriors who probably never coached nor played the game of American football.
If you're so tired of Dabo then just leave...quit following. There is no coach that has done more for Clemson University than CDS. All you have to do is look at the number of applications to the University after the NC seasons.

Especially with those golden handcuffs. It simply looked like the king of the golden corner of SC couldn't handle some pointed criticism. Many a leader in the past has responded in similar circumstances with grace and tact. That neither happened last night, nor today at the presser.

Am I tired of his arrogance? Yup. Poorly coached teams? Yup. If he leaving? Nope. Lets be real. we cant afford to fire him nor is he gonna leave that much money on the table. What I am concerned with is he's gonna collect his top tier salary while continuing to make this program a lower tier product. 3 years in a row isn't a fluke, its a trend at this point.

4-4. Not successful. Our record against power 5 going back to last year, not successful. The fallout with transfers sure to come...not successful. The coverage of his antics and picking fights with fans...not successful. The trend of this program is down. If he doesnt adapt to where college football is, instead of trying to make it where HE thinks it should be, we will contine to decline. I dont want him gone, as a proud Alumni I love flying my Paw flag here in the midwest. But the current trend is bad and the successes of yesteryear are getting further into the rearview mirror.

and lose what? This team has been going downhill since Dabo got whipped by LSU Loss 42-15 then Ohio St at the Sugar Bowl 49-28 Won the cheeze wiz bowl 20-13 and got whipped by Tenn 2nd string QB and offense 31 -14 Since every game we lost this year we beat ourselves and 3 years losing on the National stage (embarrassingly) doesnt sound like dabo has done much to advance the program and has over seen its fall But lets blame the fans pass the buck (I take the responsibility BUT... is not taking responsibility aqnd lets not forget the epic meeting with the secretaries

How can you count last year? Yes we lost to the coots. Worst coached game I've ever seen but we won the ACC and if there would have been a 12 team playoff, we'd have made it. That is the new goal going forward.

"If" is how underperformers justify losses. There wasnt a 12 team playoff. If there was we lost in the first round getting blown out by Tennessee.

I could not agree more. What has happened to Clemson since 2010 is almost unbelievable. 63,000 applications for 4800 freshmen spots. A lot of that is because is Dabo. He is one of the most competitive people I know. He will do everything in his power to fix the issues.

Very true. His mark is undeniable. If he fixes the problem, this argument will be a moot point. My faith in his ability to do so is shaken to say the least.

develop a thicker skin because of this experience and understand it is a part of his profession.
You take the praise, then you take the brow beating when things go badly. Surely he realizes the results do not match the talent, and that can happen. Preseason top 10 to what is now a 4-4 record and most losses self-inflicted which does not help, coaching seems to be off somewhere with this 2023 squad.
