With Gallman gone & Tye transferring out...

Is there any chance whatsoever that Cordarrian Richardson reconsiders!? 3 on the roster certainly looks a lot more appealing than 5 for a RB target, no? I know he has an Oregon visit coming up but that program is years away from being what it was under Mariota. What say you?
Cordarian, come back son! Clemson Nation needs you.

It's my understanding that it's not necessarily that Richardson doesn't WANT to be a Tiger

it's that he CAN'T be a Tiger because of academics.

Ugh. I'm sorry guys, I totally forgot. I remember reading about the investigation but haven't heard much since. Not sure why he'd be visiting Oregon then; wouldn't he be limited to the JuCo route? Such a shame, the whole situation.

The rumors are his grades will keep him out bc of

his high school coach being under investigation for altering grades but who knows if that's the real reason and if it is then it sure isn't stopping him from visiting other schools. Maybe at Oregon he would be the man from day 1

I wonder if prep school could be an option for him?

He didn't rule out Clemson when he announced his decommitment. It may be difficult for him to get into any school this year. White and Richardson in '18?

With only three on the depth chart we need to sign one

but what about the obvious move. If, and it's an if, Kelly Bryant is clearly beaten out as QB in the spring, why wouldn't we look at him at RB. He'd look to change positions or transfer. He has a redshirt available so he could transfer. But if he moves. WR is stacked so that's not a good fit. He's never played defense. But the kid can run. He's 6'4, 220. He's Darrin McFadden

Need Bryant to switch and hopefully the coaches can coax him to - whatever position it ends up being. He'd be a good hybrid TE/HB. I just think it's not going to happen this year unless it's later in the season.

I chuckled at this one. Firstly, Darrin McFadden is just shy of 6'1" 225lbs... that's a lot thicker than the 6'4" 218lbs that Kelly is. Now, if Kelly wants to get on that mass gainer and peanut butter diet and swell up to a juicy 240-250? I don't think anyone would complain about having a Bo Scarborough / Brandon Jacobs in the clemson stable. This, (obviously), will never happen though.
