The whole team should go up to the box one by one and kick him in the nuts.

Especially now that second stringer out there is busting it and getting hurt. It's becoming shameful.

You of out you’re done. Clear out the locker and turn in your playbook. How much balls do you have to have to sit in a luxury box while your boys are all out there playing their ##### off….

I don't quite see it like yall. It's not the playoffs...this kid has millions of dollars on the line that will take care of him and his entire family for generations. What's more important, beating mich state or taking care of your family for 3 generations?
The kid was the main reason they won their first ACC title, got them the big bowl game check, gave the program exposure they haven't had in forever, he did great things for that program
I understand yalls point of view, I just see his as well.
If Andrew Booth would of decided to sit out yesterday game I'd of still been grateful for everything he did for our program and I would of unstood there is things in his life more important than the cheez it bowl

If Mario Goodrich had sat out the game we probably would have lost.

I get your points and they are valid.
However, if the game isn’t important enough for him to play, why is it important enough for his teammates?
All of your points could apply to everyone on the team.
All of them are risking their health and “risking” losing money, no matter the amount.

Any coach who did that would not ever get another top ranked recruit once that news got out. Pitt would have never won the ACC without Pickett. Look at all the good publicity Pitt got because of Pickett. The backup getting injured could have been Pickett.

How do you know a coach would not get another 5* player? No coach has had the culture to tell a player to clear out his locker. It might just be what the other 84 players are thinking.

Seeing this in almost every game. These guys are on scholarship for goodness sake. I’ll never understand how you can just #### on your team.

Yall are saying he #### on his team....but read the articles, his teammates love him and support his decision.
If thus kid goes out there and tears a all, goes from a top 10 pick with a guaranteed 20 million dollars to a 5 round pick and gets 500k yall wouldn't give a ####...but he would suffer.
No way he should play and no way you can erase what he's done for pitt because he choose to do what's best for his family.

After deciding to sit out the bowl game, Pickett should embarrassed and ashamed to be there, these kids have "Lebron James, diva level" self-awareness.

Agree. He should be embarrassed. He’s watching the game, watching the second string QB go down, and his team has to play with QB # 3.

I don't know. I don't know the situation. I think there are a lot of different dynamics. I won't judge. He wouldn't be with the team, or inside the press box, without the blessing of Narduzzi.
I'll trust him to make the call.
