I was wondering the same. Announcers kept hinting that Kidd was upset with Clemson but didn't really explain why. Kidd was acting like a spoiled brat on the court as if Clemson somehow did him wrong. He seemed jealous of PJ being a better player. That elbow to PJ's face was a nasty incident - glad it was ruled a flagrant foul.

Kidd was mostly for playing time.

He had a concussion his freshman year which sidelined him for longer than anticipated. Our doctors were being appropriately careful with him, but I wonder if he was frustrated that they wouldn’t clear him sooner…

OMax was an odd situation. He played a decent amount for a freshman and I felt that he would’ve played more his sophomore year if he had stayed. He seemed to just want a different situation for himself.

You could see OMax’s potential when he was here. He was seeing the floor way more than Kidd was.
I think OMax wanted to perhaps get a little closer to home, as well as play more. I think he would have done well at Clemson had he stayed.
We clearly have upgraded from Kidd.
