Where to watch the game

Sep 30, 2015, 9:06 AM

Hi guys,

I've posted a couple times but never introduced myself. Thanks for all the good threads and posts that keep the fire burnin'.

I want to come to Clemson for the game Saturday. Can't afford a ticket but i want to hang out and join in the festivities all day and experience one of the best gamedays this school may have ever had. Come game time I would love to go to a bar somewhere with a lot of Clemson fans to watch the game, but am a little concerned it will be so packed I might not get a good view of the game or hear the announcers at all. I can go back to my parents in Anderson and watch it, but won't get the atmosphere. Any good advice where to go and watch the game with a bunch of fans where I can really see & hear the action?

Great question, but most of the bars will have the sound turned all the way up. Esso is always a good spot with lots of TVs (and close to the stadium so you get all the noise). Also, Wingin' it and TTTs has a big projector that will cover a whole wall. Everywhere will be packed!

Just make your way towards the stadium before the game starts and make friends with the people at any tailgate with a TV. There will be plenty, they will be friendly, and you will be able to hear the roars from the stadium a few seconds before you see the play. It's *almost* like being there.

Yea - agreed, that's what I'd do. Pack a little bag cooler, walk around and mingle. Wear your orange, be friendly and meet some fellow Tigers. Bring some decent beer to swap out and make some new friends.
