that compels you effing leftists to call out all the 'hate' you perceive? Don't you know all this does is reveal you as a snowflake mental case? ...As someone so insecure in their place in life that all they can do is concern themselves with a bunch of made up bunk and other people's business.
It takes a lot to disrespect two groups of people at once. But on Sunday afternoon in Las Vegas, a Kansas City Chiefs fan found a way to hate Black people and the Native Americans at the same time.

It shouldn't come as a surprise that leftists hate things like football, children and fun, in general. When they aren't calling for the death of jews or burning US flags they still find time to completely make up new stuff to get outraged about. And one will be by any moment to say you're the triggered one for noticing. They are garbage.

Valid question. Something did, fundamentally, shift over the last 8-10 years, accelerating between 2018 and today. I often ask the same question. My father is, let's say, very different than he was in 2015 - was always kind, caring, sharp, thoughtful with dialogue, etc. Now, he utters the oddest one-liners and opinions. Example, out of nowhere a few weeks ago, we were walking property that he and my step-mom are considering purchasing (to relocate from another state) and "Where's John Wilkes Booth when you need him?" I have opinions and thoughts, but it would never cross my mind freely/easily make a statement like this - in front of a relative stranger, btw (agent showing the property). How did we get "here"?

It allowed crazies to find each other and have a voice, and they shouted down the sane people, who are now too exhausted/scared/frustrated to speak up and shout the crazies back down.
Years ago, you wouldn't have seen some of the people on here spouting the crazy conspiracy BS.

Of note, my father is not on social media at all. But, he does have a certain love affair w/ a few "news" channels. He says as much and his entire political worldview is governed by those/that. I'm not making a political statement here - it is what I've observed of him. It is difficult to be in a room or car with him for the last several years as conversation, inevitably, devolves into politics/hurling insults. Funny thing is, he's never once asked me my opinion and I'm smart enough not to offer it out of fear of becoming further estranged. Makes me sad.
