TCU LB Johnny Hodges after a 3 point loss to a now loaded Colorado team.


We get embarrassed by Duke and have a player more upset about their late arrival than the embarrassing loss. It appears our team is just as out of touch with reality as the HC. I wish we saw the same hurt, anger, and self awareness that this TCU LB showed.

In his interview you could see he was visibly upset, while our players on the other hand were all smiles.

Yesterday and they just sounded way to upbeat. Things like “you know we just gotta clean up a few things. We did this and this well”.

It sounded like we had just beaten Duke 28-7 and they were talking about a “lackluster” win.

You don't understand. Our players suffer too. You heard Ruke. They had to get back at 5 am in the morning. That was the worst thing for the team in their eyes.

...that's 2 or THREE HOURS after they'd normally be getting home from the clubs on a average party night.
