They would use Ford as an advisor to the current FB team; I know he could help us tremendously...(agree?)

I don't know. For better or worse the game has changed immensely since Danny's time. I'm sure it couldn't hurt, but I don't know how useful it would be either.

The tweet should read: Very, very proud...

That is what I remember Danny often saying.

I'm glad I was attending Clemson when he coached for us.

It seemed like and eternity ago and looking back, such a short stay for he and I. That's the first time I've seen that photo and I'll have to say it brought a tear. It's a little confusing to me fo find myself mad enough to chew a nail and tearful at the same time.

The bad thing is he was wrongfully let go and it took us this long to get over that

Yes he was wrongfully let go....

And I for one will never forget that. It gets me so fired up just thinking about it.
But if Danny can be at peace with it, I should try to as well.
I said at the time we would be punished with at least 30 years of hell in the wilderness as a result. I wasn't far off.
Love ya Dabo and Danny!
Carry on....

Danny is who I identify Clemson Football with...

I cannot help it.
It was during my formative years and he epitomized sheer will power against all odds in order to succeed.
And he gave a darn about his players! It wasn't just about Danny.
Love Dabo too. A lot of the same traits, but Dabo is a little more outspoken. I sometimes wonder how we are so blessed to have lightening strike twice. Very chilling to recognize the similarities.

It's not lightning, it's called humility...

and Dabo and Danny each have expressive and equal portions of it. It is beautiful to watch and humbling to feel. They've given it to everyone around them willingly, and it is a blessing for them and for all of us. Get you some! Yea!
I want me some more! A human being simply cannot have enough of it! It makes you a winner, almost automatically.

I picture it being at least 10 minutes, from logging in, to typing, to sending. Gotta love Danny!

From spitting chew on the sidelines, to leading us to a National Championship. It's like the old Milwaukee commercials.... It don't get any better than this...
I love Dabo, but Danny Ford is hard to beat.
GO TIGERS!

I notice Coach Ford still wears the navy blue color from his era, not today's purple. It seems appropriate for him to stay true to it. He doesn't seem like a purple kind of guy. Still love Coach Ford and very pleased he is back in the fold with the official Clemson family and can be finally honored for is accomplishments. Go Tigers!
