Once a top football programs (like a FSU or Miami) leave that original agreement.. Clemson would have a legit legal argument that the original agreement can no longer provide the same future benefits (the contract has been significantly weakened from what it originally offered Clemson). If any power team leaves the ACC’s original contract.. “that” is our opportunity to legally file how the original contract has been damaged and should no longer be binding/valid. The ACC without a Clemson or FSU simply would not carry the same clout and those teams left behind shouldn’t be forced to stay in such a dire financial situation.

I see...let FSU do the heavy lifting then we follow up with "Hey, we signed up because of FSU...but they are leaving therefore we are no longer bound".

Yes.. and if Bama & UGA hypothetically left the SEC.. I guarantee ESPN would try to legally try to “undo” the original contract of paying big $$ to teams like Vanderbilt & USuC. It should be the same for us when we lose teams from the ACC.
