1. Louisville takes Orange Bowl, FSU takes next bowl and we’re bumped down a bowl.
2. UGA gets a playoff spot and our recruiting in Georgia takes a hit when they continue to make the CFP and we continue to NOT make the CFP playoff. We recruit Georgia a LOT harder than Florida.
There really isn’t any other argument except emotional temper tantrums to explain who we should be rooting for.

From all the chatter it sounds like we are locked into the Holiday Bowl regardless. The real value of the bowl game is the extra practice and teaching time.
How this game ends has absolutely no influence on anything.

1. Does our berth in the Holiday bowl really matter when most of the playmakers are gone?

The younger guys replacing them will get some needed extra practice and teaching time and some good game experience. All of that helps as we head into a new season with greater expectations.
