Walking up to stadium to buy tickets for big games

So I know the Louisville game is going to be a tough ticket and stubhub has already outpriced me. (Which I am totally fine with, the market does what it does) But I already have a parking pass for this game. If I were to try to get 2 tickets outside the stadium in the last 20 mins or so before kickoff... do any of you guys have a recent experience with that that will tell me what to expect and what the prices do?

Now days you risk buying an inactive ticket like that. They can be sold via Internet electronically and not be worth the paper they're printed on. Happened to a lot of people at Charlotte last year. Makes no difference if it's a real ticket. They can be done the same way.

I have no clue what price range you're trying to be in but you might have to wait until right after kick off. I did it for SC my senior year of high school got two lower deck for $40 each

Watch out for counterfeit tickets
Sep 18, 2016, 9:10 AM

Happens when there's a big game with valuable tix. Saw it last year at the FSU game... A young couple who drove down from NC bought counterfeit tickets, and the copies were good enough to get in the stadium, but it was for the season ticket seats held by my friends... and I knew they were coming to the game. I looked at the tickets, they were near perfect copies. They were purchased roadside in Clemson.
Victims had to leave their seats, no idea if they got other seats.
If buying tickets, try to compare them with a "known good" one if you can.

Clemson honors StubHub tickets over the real
Sep 18, 2016, 9:27 AM

Printed season tickets.
For the FSU Clemson game where Winston smashed us, I bought 2 actual game tickets from a guy off Craig's list. The problem was the dummy posted a photo and somebody used the barcode to upload them on stubhub. The police escorted myself, the guy who sold us the tickets and the people who bought the stolen tickets off StubHub to the Clemson ticket office. The ticket office after being explained the situation told us the StubHub tickets were the legitimate tickets and the real tickets I possessed were in fact no good.
Beware all tickets.

Stub Hub the day off the game...

Stubhub and other sites prices the day of the game approaching game time ...
Just like the scalpers at the stadium , if Internet scalpers haven't made a profit by game day , they will be happy to escape breaking even..
I get great concert tickets this way...
Good Luck

if you do stubhub the day of the game.....

How does that work if you're already at the game. Will they scan barcode off your phone? Is there's pickup site at the stadium? Or does one haul their HP printer to their tailgate? Thanks in advance.

If it's gameday there your risk of fakes skyrockets; Scalps come in from all over for those games

Been a seller in that situation several times...

and I've always sold for face value. Scalping laws still exist in SC ( I think). I'd rather see the game than be carted off by SLED. That's just me though. Yes, I'm a chicken sheet...

A lot of the stubhub prices rose just as a reaction to the Louisville FSU game u expect them to drop down to a realistic price as the game approaches

There's always extras that people don't want to try and sell. Usually you can get them below face value.
Last time Looeyvul was here we got 3 35 yd lower deck seats from a guy parked next to LJ for $50.
