Walker White mentioned being comfortable in the offense

Auburn runs and it's close to or the same as the offense his HS runs. Is it possible our new offense is more complicated than Auburn's and that affected his decision? Too lazy to research Auburn.

It may be another cycle or two before we get an elite QB.

There are exceptions, and if we get lucky, maybe we'll get one, but not many top rated QBs want to go somewhere they will have to sit for 2 years; they expect to play pretty quickly. With Cade and Vizzina already here, early PT will be a tough sell.

Auburn has a anew staff and they will not have the offense that they ran in '11 or likely prior to that. Check out the Liberty offenses from past 3 years or so [lus the Ole Miss when Hugh Freeze was the Rebels' HC

It's the Hugh Freeze culture that is appealing. Why would any kid search elsewhere?

He was going to be sitting behind Cade and Vizzina. So, there's that.

Clemson when he was being recruited.
Thank goodness!
Is there a guy like Trevor out there who has the confidence to compete against the best?
And the other thing in play now is that if a guy comes in to compete and can’t break through, he just packs his bags and moves on.
This is what I fear for Vizzina if Cade becomes the solid starter the next two years.
We really, really need to sign a top QB in this cycle, even if we can’t hold on to him in the long run.

I think it was the burner phone they gave him that put him over the top...

Maybe he is more comfortable with their NIL deal.

I’m sure it was the combination of sitting behind 2 5 stars and a lucrative NIL deal for his decision.
