No matter how down Virginia might be any win against the Cavaliers in Charlottesville is a good one and when Tony Bennett is the coach they are always hard to play against and get a victory.

We just gave them their worst home loss this season by far, and also ended our long losing streak there. This was a nice win, even if UVA doesn’t seem to be as strong this year.

You are correct. I’ll take a win every time, but the entire ACC is horrible right now. 1 ranked team. Even if you go to the next 5 “getting votes” - there still is only 1.
This is historical bad. The 80s when a .500 team was virtually guaranteed a dance invite are long gone. Not sure why, but the balance of basketball power has dramatically shifted.
Knowing tony Bennett being a great coach, shows that UVA is seriously short on talent this year. I would have preferred us winning on a buzzer beater against an undefeated top 3 UVA, but - also tired of losing to them, so happy for win. Good job team.

I’m really surprised that ,according to some Brownell haters ,that someone hasn’t figured out that Virginia coach ,who is a good one ,couldn’t figure out how to beat our, not so good coach

but part of that was because of the way Clemson played.
Frankly, with the long scoring droughts and numerous turnovers, UVa looked more like Clemson last night than Clemson did.
We'll take it. Hopefully we see more of the same when we play them against in two weeks.
