What is Clemson paying you for?
His unit is easily the worst coached on the entire roster.

Are you serious?
Ross, Ngata, and Ladson are all highly rated players that were offered by every big school.

None of those mentioned are as sure handed as past WR groups at Clemson.

DJ was highly recruited by numerous schools. It means they have potential, and he hasn’t got as much as we have been programmed to believe

I think that would go to the OL… but I think the wr are having a hard time gettin into any Rythm. There are so many over thrown balls that when he occasionally makes a good throw we don’t make the play… the play with ngata is what i would love to see more of… there’s no way our guys can’t run those type of route and turn it into something big with our talent … we def need to take the slant out of the play book until dj can just come close to being on target … I think these Wrs are good but just have no Rythm with dj to this point

The issues with the WR group is not talent. It’s DJ’s inability to throw the ball when it needs to be thrown. His reads are late. Which means when he has decided to make the throw. The defender has closed the gap, recovered or help has arrived. The difference between a good QB and a elite QB is 1.8 seconds. That’s the time it takes for an elite QB to read a play. TL16 and DW5 had the ability to read a play very quick. DJ does not have it at the moment.

At this point, will DJ be able to learn to read plays? That’s what worries me.

I will say this, our receivers haven't been the same since Jeff Scott's coaching, and he is sorely missed IMO. He isn't really doing that well with his team at USF, and I hope that if he fails there as a HC, that he will come back to Clemson as OC/WR coach!!!
Let me be clear though, I do not in any way hope that Jeff fails at USF, but I am saying that if it don't work out, that Dabo will offer him his spot back as Co OC/WRs coach, or, OC/WRs coach bc, I truly believe he done an excellent job at Clemson with both!!!!

I'm glad someone agrees with me - it all started when Jeff Scott left - play calling and recruiting.

I understand the WRs being frustrated about passes being off target but it appears to me that the group looks undisciplined. They throw their hands up in disgust, stare down DJ, demonstrate bad body language and basically act spoiled. Making a public demonstration like that in a team sport (or team anything) is not being disciplined and is not being a team player. Do you see the RBs putting their hands on their hips, throwing their arms in the air and etc. when the line doesn't give them a hole? Do you see the defense doing that? No to all, just the WRs.
Go in at half time, get in the QBs face and let him know you're not happy. Don't do it in front of the fans and cameras because that's not being a team player.

Ngata acts like that then drops a bullseye right between the numbers for a TD.

Yeah i noticed that when Ngata dropped the pass that hit him in the numbers. Then caught himself and took the blame. I guess old habits are to break.
